Green bubble that states: Nonprofits account for more than 11 million jobs, more than 10 percent of all private-sector employment
Managing for success

As government budgets get tighter, nonprofit organizations are increasingly important to the health and sustainability of communities and their residents. As these groups strive to stay true to their missions and expand their work, strong leadership and effective management are essential for success.

As part of our commitment to nonprofit excellence, we are a leading provider of training and certification, and our network members often serve as examples of innovative solutions to tough challenges.

We will feature more than 20 courses in our nonprofit management and leadership track during our Washington, DC, National Training Institute in December.

Courses include “Behind Every Good PR Campaign is a Plan” (ML208), which will teach individuals charged with communications how to develop a plan customized to a specific project or campaign, and “Light Your Board on Fire” (ML243), a course on how to remove the barriers that keep board members from being as effective as they can be.
