As we prepare to celebrate National Hispanic Heritage month Sept.
15-Oct. 15, we highlight some of the work that our network organizations are doing to meet the needs of this community.
Meeting community needs in Indiana

When 40 percent of a community is Hispanic, community development groups must customize services to meet their needs. Network member LaCasa does just that. It has a 46-year history of providing targeted services. All service staff are bilingual and bicultural. Services offered through its homeownership center include pre-purchase training and financial counseling.
