Girl Power
Green stat bubble that reads: Nearly 75% of girls say they are under pressure to please everyone.
According to research by Plan International, girls are the most excluded group in the world. They face discrimination and abuse just because they are young and female. Girls also are more likely to feel pressure to look a certain way; in fact, 92 percent of U.S. teen girls say they would like to change something about the way they look, with body weight ranking the highest.

Some members of the NeighborWorks network are taking a special interest in girls and supporting projects that help increase self-esteem and physical fitness.
